vol. 29 i love you for sentimental reasons

说到唱情歌，绝对不能忘了nat king cole大叔。看着dvd画面中旧旧的黑白影像，大叔在那里深情款款，用今天一个时髦词语来说，那可简直是“治愈系”的！

就是这么一个深情款款的治愈系，才让我一直对那个年代充满憧憬。

听说nat king cole是误打误撞成了一个歌手，他原本是很不错的爵士钢琴手。但至少这样的副业成就了情歌历史的辉煌。特别当王家卫很合适地把那几首老情歌用到了《花样年华》，配上梅林茂的电影配乐，霎时便满中国quizas quizas quizas了，而nat king cole在中国也算是有了第二春，他老人家在地下若有知也欣慰了。

我一直很喜欢他唱歌时候表情总是微笑着，那可不就是治愈系。真美好。

今天要听的是i love you for sentimental reasons。这首歌很有名，但其实我一直在思考怎么解释这个歌名呢。网上很多说是“因为感伤的理由”，那这首歌怎么就觉得像是苦情歌了呢。看到另外一个版本“我多情地爱着你”，感觉上又好点，所以姑且这么翻译吧。

vol. 28 let there be love

我们可以用很多方法来描述爱情，尤其是浪漫的爱情，甚至在歌词中都可以不出现love这个字眼（或者到最后才出现——last but not the least）。请参看let there be love的歌词，虽然言简意赅，但也许那就一场浪漫的婚礼吧。
貌似很多听爵士的人都不怎么待见laura fygi，虽然被誉为荷兰国宝级歌手，但是在很多资深乐迷的心中，她也就是个比较活泼的流行歌手而已。
我觉得这个歌词已经是今天我想说的全部。

ps，本来还想翻译歌词的，后来搜索到这个同学的blogbus有对这首歌的一个很有趣的注解：

Let there be...是圣经创世纪开头，神用得比较多的句式，比如说：

1:3 神说，要有光，就有了光。

用在情歌里却显得有一点顽皮。歌者唱道：要有你，要有我，海底要有牡蛎，要有风，偶尔来点小雨，再有墨西哥牛肉和闪着光的香槟；林间要有小鸟唱歌，要有人在我打喷嚏的时候祝福我，要有一只杜鹃，一只云雀，一只鸽子，但是首先，要有爱。那么多的意象都是催情的东西，只是，唯有牡蛎，我不太理解，是不是西方人觉得牡蛎也是一种催情的美食？

（我也不明白牡蛎放在这里干嘛）

初次听到这首歌，我相信很多人跟我一样，都是因为90年代初那几盘名为“浓情篇”的磁带。那个时候我还根本没开始研究欧美流行乐，但还是会哼唱这么几句歌词。这首歌太琅琅上口了，跟yesterday once more有的一比。可惜，我想没人对唱歌的乐团本身有什么兴趣吧。那个时候流行的英文歌曲大多有这个问题，人们只记得歌，忽略了歌手。
最近听到这首歌而又令人念念不忘的缘由，却是因为那部有点“YD”的日剧《love shuffle》，每次到情感迸发环节，bangles的这首老歌就恰如其分地唱响了。于是，又一轮对老歌的怀念和惆怅又开始。
所以说，日剧是个好东西。
